Before a client retains the Aitken Robertson law firm, one lawyer, and usually both lawyers, will meet the client and fully discuss the facts of the case with the client. During this time, we will also seek out the evidence that will be used in any prosecution. We will diligently review a case to determine whether any issues are present that would require the exclusion of police evidence from a trial or the dismissal of the Crown Attorney's case for legal or technical reasons, and to determine if our client's Charter of Rights and Freedoms were violated.
