Law Firm Profile
Since Bruce Engel founded the firm in 1991, the practice has evolved from mainly straightforward assaults and break-and-enter cases. Today it includes more complex, white-collar crime cases such as fraud and tax cases, as well as domestic assault and impaired driving.
Criminal Lawyer, Engel & Lewandowski
Whatever the charge, each case gets careful attention. Engel prides himself on being very personable, accessible, and easy to talk to, giving his clients the reassurance and expert legal advice they're looking for.
His long-time assistant ensures the firm runs smoothly, while the addition of Paul Lewandowski as a junior partner means that Engel & Lewandowski can now handle a bigger caseload, including personal injury law.
The firm works on a block fee basis: clients pay an initial retainer followed by a set fee for the specific service used. Everything is discussed up front, so there are never any surprises.
